Our four words

Nourishing

Food that satisfies and brings pleasure as well as nourishment. Thoughtfully made, generous and something people genuinely want to eat.

Seasonal

We cook with what is good now, allowing the farm, local growers and the seasons to shape the menu.

Regenerative

We think beyond the plate: soil, animals, producers, waste, local livelihoods and the wider food system all matter.

Reverence

Respect for ingredients, animals, land, people and craft. Nothing fussy, but everything considered.

Education at Rette

Rooted at Rette Farm offers hands-on learning experiences that bring food, farming, and nature to life. The farm is a dynamic learning environment, reinforcing so many areas of the curriculum while helping children build a deeper understanding of the natural world and their role in protecting it.
